Just Fare and Potliquor Got Hitched!

We are very excited to announce that Just Fare and Potliquor have gotten hitched and combined our businesses!
Potliquor is an events caterer in Northern California rooted in impeccable sourcing, hospitality and customization for all event needs. Just Fare is thrilled to welcome them to the family.
Our industry has been so heavily hit, and our hearts go out to all those experiencing loss. The uncertainty and struggles of the last year have required that small businesses like Potliquor and Just Fare dig deep into our creativity wells and reinvent ourselves in order to endure.
Our businesses have been working together in one way or another for a long time. This new opportunity for both companies to get through such a challenging time together made a lot of sense, so that we’re able to offer our clients and community phenomenal and unique events. Over the last eight years we’ve been advising, advocating and supporting one another in various ways, so it was only natural to take our relationship to the next level.
For Potliquor, this was a chance to ensure that our people and clients have a home that shares our commitment to workers’ rights, responsible ingredients/high sourcing standards and a positive, lovely culture that shares our hospitality ethos. Potliquor was previously led by Jennifer Lynch and Laura McGrath. Jennifer has transitioned away from the business in order to prioritize life commitments and we applaud her for that choice as well as her years of work and support. Laura will be staying on and, along with the Potliquor team, feels excited and fortunate to be joining Just Fare to continue providing the care and quality in food, hospitality and personal connections that has become synonymous with the Potliquor brand for all these years.
Know that this ensures Potliquor’s longevity and that your event (current or future) is buoyed by this new marriage.
For Just Fare this came at an opportune time as we considered launching a dedicated and specialized Events arm of our business to serve our Office Catering clients. We have been long-time fans of Potliquor’s incredible integrity, grit and product and feel privileged and honored to collaborate on a mutually beneficial relationship.

Changes in the Kitchen & Goodbye Delivery (for now…)
Change is something we have learned to embrace very tightly over the last year and a half. It has given us opportunities to try new things, and we have learned so much. At this time, we need to take a break from offering our Delivery menu.
We are in the process of relocating to a new kitchen in Oakland (!) and are going to leverage this moment to take a thoughtful look at our business and learn how we can position ourselves to thrive. Right now this means fully immersing ourselves into our Events, Design, and Office Catering offerings, our Community Kitchen, and creating our new home! As always, thank you for your love and support.
