WORKPLACE CASE STUDY
IDEO
Our Design and Workplace teams were brought on to create and operate IDEO’s new food program in 2021. Working with the San Francisco team, we designed a Community Lunch concept as a shared meal for all employees and guests to kick their delivery habit, make costs more predictable and incentivize employees to gather in the office. Days with lunch service have seen a 50%+ increase in office attendance.
WORKPLACE PORTFOLIO
Medallia
We were thrilled to partner with Medallia, an organization that has strong community values that align with those of Just Fare. At their San Mateo HQ, we ran a daily family-style meal and soup-salad-deli bar for a headcount ranging from 300 to 500 people. We made vast improvements to the program's food quality and hospitality standards - as measured by employee satisfaction surveys.
Snowflake
We were contracted for daily lunch service at Snowflake’s new HQ. We served hot family meal and a soup-salad-sandwich bar at their headquarters. Snowflake even created a #soup Slack channel to show their admiration for our daily rotating soups. We also launched a meeting catering ordering platform to accommodate special meetings and events.
Everlane
We were over the moon to partner with Everlane’s leadership to build towards a zero-waste snack & drink program. We designed and stocked a ‘build-your-own’ salad and sandwich bar for employee self-serve, with all fresh ingredients prepped in our offsite commissary kitchen. We designed this program to improve food safety, provide unique fresh products at all times and decrease waste - in fact, there were no single serve snack or drink options in the office! We are excited to continue to strive towards a zero-waste program and measure its impact to the Everlane community and the environment; and use it as a prototype for other offices in the future.
Patreon
Connecting with Patreon in summer of 2018, we were ecstatic to be providing daily meals to a company with such values alignment. We served a daily lunch buffet coupled with a salad bar two days a week, along with a weekly breakfast, and special event support where applicable. We also offered a variety of snack & drink options from kegged beverages to housemade deli meats for Patreon to have on-hand at all times. During the pandemic, Patreon hired our Design business unit to help redesign their catering/warming kitchen.
