New Just Fare Offerings for 2023

OUR TOP THREE NEW OFFERINGS FOR THE YEAR AHEAD

At Just Fare, we spent the last year or so emerging from the pandemic having learned a lot about what the new face of food and hospitality looks like. While our industry and the world at large continues to shift as we discover new rhythms to life, we know its more important than ever to provide our communities with flexible options for delicious food rooted in strong values. What this means for our clients and customers is exciting changes and new products that better fit what we’re hearing and seeing in the world of workplace and special event catering. We’re so excited about the new offerings we have slated to to come online this year - I’d love to share some of them with you here.

Breakfast

One of my personal favorites is back: breakfast! Imagine the ultimate, five-star hotel spread and you’ve got an idea of what our breakfast for workplaces looks like - with the added benefit of local and organic sourcing, and 100% cage-free eggs. Starting the day with a delicious breakfast makes coming into the office so much sweeter. Here are a few upcoming menus:

  • Chicken chilaquiles, vegan chilaquiles, house-made andouille sausage, zucchini casserole, brioche bread pudding, and baked apples

  • Three cheese scramble, applewood smoked bacon, winter cauliflower & swiss chard, sweet potato hash, fresh cut Asian pears

  • Shakshuka scramble, lamb sausage patties, turmeric carrots with sundried tomatoes, sweet potatoes with caramelized onion, citrus & berries with mint

Check out the sample breakfast menu on our Workplace page, and get in touch with our Workplace team if you’re interested in serving breakfast for your Bay Area colleagues.

Multi-Day Workplace Events

We’ve been seeing a lot of teams from across the country meet up in the greater SF Bay Area for off-sites, All Hands and other special work-related occasions. Two to three+ day event series focused on bringing together hybrid and dispersed teams are gaining popularity, and great food is of course critical for these events to go well.

I love the creative menus that these sorts of gatherings inspire; featuring items like a Grazing Table of gorgeous local and organic vegetables with carrot tahini dip, luscious beef sugo filled arancini and crispy, creamy chickpea fritters with two sauces - chermoula and spicy cilantro yogurt - to name a few of the many options we offer for multi-day workplace events.  We have an amazing team at the ready to provide a soup to nuts hospitality experience for visiting (and local) teams.

Online Ordering

You heard that right. We’ve seen the challenges that many of our local office managers and workplace experience teams face when trying to plan for daily in-office head counts. With all the continued uncertainty it can be hard to commit to an ongoing food service such as our more traditional Workplace offerings. So, we’re developing an easy to order, affordable, streamlined lunch service that is perfect for offices with smaller or irregular head counts. You can expect to see this option available at the beginning of June! In the meantime, feel free to let us know you’re interested by dropping us a line at hello@justfare.co.

More broadly speaking, we’ve got all sorts of creative, deeply satisfying lunch menus in the works courtesy of our wonderful new Executive Chef who comes to us from Pinterest, Polly Sang. Expect to see more build your own lunches (who doesn’t love a customizable bowl featuring whole grains?), Asian inspired flavors - we were just looking at a Korean Bibimbap coming up - and more whole-food vegan options.

If any of this sounds interesting (or if you’d like to vent about how broken our child care system is - I’m flexible!), please shoot me a line (bronwen@justfare.co) and I’ll happily take you to lunch and tell you more about what we have in store for 2023. Looking forward to it all.
